Meet the FFL Team
Written by admin
Fashion For Lunch is made up of a group of writers who share a love of all things fashion and beauty-related. Coming from all parts of the globe, we represent a variety of style and creativity, which we bring to the London scene. We are constantly developing our network of writers, searching for diverse opinions and perspectives. Without further adieu, here’s our team:
Vanessa Zaree
Originally from Spain, Vanessa has been enjoying the London scene for five years. Always on the look out for new trends, all Vanessa needs for a little fashion inspiration is to observe trend-setting Londoners. Vanessa likes the fun side of fashion, so it’s no surprise that her favourite brands include Moschino, Sonia Rykiel and all things chic and cheerful. When not having fashion for lunch, you’ll find Vanessa rummaging around Topshop or exploring Sunday markets.
Aminah Khan
Hailing from India, Aminah attended university in London and fell in love with the city and its style. She has an eye for trends and dissects the high street with ease. Aminah has many passions, and will always be the girl who turns up in a killer pair of heels.
Lauren Hesse
London fashion lover and writer-on-the-go, Lauren Hesse, has a style ranging from classic to edgy and it is all about integrating. She cannot get enough of feminine flowing tops mixed with menswear suiting, frocks and jumpers, rose prints and vintage jewellery. Lauren’s fashion motto: take risks and wear what you love.
Adele Booth
Midlands born Adele took off from the suburbs three years ago, and London’s bustling fashion and social worlds have kept her away ever since. Recently finishing a degree, Adele spends most of her time blogging, sourcing out new bands and eating ketchup sandwiches. Her style is often unexpected and chaotic, but never ill informed.
Lindsey Anderson
Fresh out of University, Lindsey has spent many months studying the illusive world of fashion . She favours everything from couture to high street, spending most of her time trailing round market places looking for wondrous vintage bargains. Not content with your average trends Lindsey rejoices in the edgier side of fashion, hailing Vivienne Westwood as her ultimate style icon.
Dana Karlson
Whilst working in New York, Dana spent many a lunchtime traversing the boutiques of Soho and the Lower East Side in search of up-and-coming designers, vintage pieces and great clothing, which left little time for eating–or budgeting for that matter. So she left the Big Apple, boarded a flight to the UK and has been living and loving London’s fashion scene ever since. She believes that Londoners have a dress sense like no other, filled with constantly evolving micro trends that enrich their style. As the founding editor of FFL, Dana takes great pride in sharing all her fashion finds with readers.
