Missoni available on Outnet
The epitome of effortless glamour, Missoni is the label you need to know, and it’s available on the Outnet today. Revered for its signature zig-zag weave, the Italian fashion house has redefined knitwear for the jet set and beyond. That means sumptuous cardigans, sexy swimwear and oversized scarves infused with rich colours and worn with ease—like a second skin. On Monday, Net-A-Porter’s sister site launched its latest giveaway straight from the line: an ultra chic jacket worth £1210. Now there’s a prize!
We loved Missoni’s unconventional 2010 advertising campaign shot by Jurgen Teller, depicting members of the Italian family lounging around lazily on colourful couches and stripy rugs, all the while in runway looks (Just an ordinary summer evening at home, we suppose). One thing is for sure, the high gloss look is long gone. Instead, we’re finding bohemian luxe a lot more appealing this season. Head to Outnet fast, because Missoni is sure to be swept up in no time!

Marie Claire’s September issue gets a designer boost
The September issue, of any international fashion magazine worth its ad campaigns, is the star of the 12-month cycle. There is no trend left uncovered, no concept left unexplored. The magazines are bigger and the stakes are higher. So to keep things interesting, Marie Claire has launched a multi-designer collaboration to celebrate its September book and London Fashion Week, which occurs later in the same month. Available on news-stands today, the magazine will feature an exclusive tote created by Alice Temperley, Clements Ribeiro, William Tempest, PPQ or Felder Felder. Each tote will feature an image or print from one of the five designer’s Autumn/Winter collection. (We’ve got our eyes on William Tempest’s smudgy pink design).
And just when you thought Marie Claire had firmly established itself as your fashion fix du jour, the magazine will also host a special competition on its website and facebook page where readers can upload images of themselves holding their new designer totes. MC will select the 10 most stylish readers and then turn it over to facebook fans to decide the winner each day. And the prizes are worth the extra effort, trust us. Felder Felder accessories, a PPQ dress, and an outfit from Alice Temperley are just a few of the sweet winnings you can rack up.
“We’re thrilled to be working with five of the most exciting names in British fashion for our September issue and giving our huge nationwide audience a taste of the fantastic design talent at London Fashion week,” said Trish Halpin, Marie Claire’s editor-in-chief.
So you know what that means girls, pick up your copy pronto and start planning your outfit now.

Aspinal of London’s major sale
Aspinal of London is a company that prides itself on the craftsmanship of their goods, and boy should they be proud, as each item is sold at a price that hardly represents the time it takes to individually design and create each piece. But now their prices have been slashed even further in the brand’s 75% off sale, so there’s no time to waste!
Here at FFL we wanted to focus our attention on the gorgeous bags they currently have on sale, as quite frankly they are so unbelievably sophisticated any of them would befit the Queen herself. The brown Chelsea messenger bag would sit nicely alongside any autumn outfit this season and doesn’t break the bank. But let’s face it girls, bigger is better, so when it comes to a large Miami crocodile tote bag the temptation is undeniable. The same goes for the seaside inspired London tote, which during the British winter can at least help remind us that we do occasionally see some sunshine.
In the evening category it’s a battle between the ever reliable handbag or the trusty clutch. Both come complete with patent crocodile print and gold buckle detailing but the decision between the two cannot be taken lightly. So why don’t you decide and treat yourself to a luxurious new piece of royal arm candy.

All Saints sale
Saturday was a damaging day. And we have All Saints solely to blame. The high street shop, which feels like an unfair label when you dissect the craftsmanship on display here, surprised us–totally and utterly. And our credit cards to boot. An innocent journey in to the Camden store turned into hours spent rummaging through stellar sale products. Just because we did not reak quite enough financial havoc, we decided to check again today to see if the online shop had similar wares up for grabs. The good news is there are plenty of All Saints’ signature styles to busy you all day. Crinkled leather jackets, wrap around lace up boots, embellished cocktail dresses, Gothic printed tees and sexy heels feel just right for summer or autumn.

Stella style for less
Thinking back to the Spring/Summer 2010 shows last September, Stella McCartney’s brand of upbeat yet practical style secured her spot as Britain’s go-to designer for effortless luxury. Grown-up clothes that still feel youthful are what McCartney does best. Just weeks ago Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted in the full-length version of the pleated floral dress above, looking all lovely and summery in this flirty frock. And whilst the first half of Stella’s show focused on denim and khaki separates mixed with printed skirts and lace shirts, the most memorable part of the presentation was the collection of bold coloured minis, exaggerated ruffles and playful blossoms covering the final looks.
However if Stella’s style is out of your price range, look no further than Forever Unique’s version of the one shoulder dress complete with ruffled neckline and bouncy florals for only £150. The dress, available on Asos, is ideal for a holiday abroad and comes complete with a tamer frill and pink chiffon slip.

Top picks: the Outnet
TheOutnet.com remains one of our all-time favourite shopping haunts- finding the most beautiful pieces at bargain prices is an all consuming affair, as you probably well know. Today began with our usual Friday morning browse, and low and behold a whole outfit plan magically appeared out of nowhere. As if by magic.Today the theme is ‘buy now, wear later’; like many shoppers these days we want our purchases to seriously work for us, and all buys must be seriously A/W orientated. That’s why we’re loving Chloe’s unassuming yet completely wearable pastel dress. Summer colours in Autumn’s cut and attitude: a quality buy if ever we saw one. A Marc Jacobs tote also looks like good common sense to us, as does a neutral blazer by Donna Karan, resplendent with all the hallmarks of next season’s colour scheme (bored of hearing the word camel yet? Almost?!) Pretty underwear pieces will add to the luxe statement of our daily look.
Ok so the Jil Sander shoes aren’t exactly neutral, but the whole outfit is woken up by a striking perspex heel on what at first appears to be your average court shoe. It’s investment dressing, but not as we know it.

Bargain must-have
It’s no secret we’re on a Burberry kick today, so whilst shopping around for high street replicas we couldn’t resist taking a peak at the real thing. We loosely call this research. Clicking around trying to secure next season’s digs, figuring out which stores have the best products with the best deals, and how can we make the top trends fit each of our personal style. And then we came across the Burberry jacket. A collective gasp ensued. This is the leather jacket we need to own..you need to own. The only question is who can get there first? Though not grouped under Burberry Prorsum, this washed leather jacket is part of the Brit collection and would look spot on with any of this season’s runway assortment. It is the perfect colour khaki and the fit looks comfortable yet cute, and at £575 it’s going to go quick. Pop on over to Matches to pick up this jacket, which is sure to become a signature staple for seasons to come.
