A Hollywood celeb was bound to wear this beauty from Christian Dior’s spring 2010 show.  It was one of those impossible-to-forget dresses epitomising the lacy loveliness we’ve come to recognise as one of this season’s hottest looks–intricately embroidered black chiffon seductively bound over a bold colour–in this case fuchsia.  Leave it to Mrs. Sex and the City herself to personalise Galliano’s gorgeous mini baby-doll dress with beaded necklaces and a stack of jewels on her wrist.  Though Sarah Jessica Parker wasn’t our first bet to rock this look, we can’t get enough of her Downtown vibe.  And let’s not forget the fashion.  The black shirring at the bust and boudoir-inspired motif are perfect for spring…and our closet.

We started scouring.  Black lace, any lace, pink and black mix.  You name it…we found it on LynkU.  Whilst Dior’s version is yet to be unleashed on the racks, this v-neck Nanette Lepore option was the closest–and most price effective–alternative we could find.  Wear with peep-toe patent heels and a pair of drop earrings.  Happy Shopping!
