Kristen Stewart in Proenza Schouler

Facts: The Twilight series latest installment, New Moon, premiered in Battersea Park last night. Kristen Stewart stole the show in Proenza Schouler–hands down.

Ok, perhaps we’re just a wee bit fashion-bias, but heads turned when K-Stew arrived at the London premier  in the most memorable look–well, the one we couldn’t stop talking about–from Proenza Schouler’s spring/summer 2010 collection.  There was a collective gasp in the office when we beheld this gem.  Well done Miss Stewart, well done.  The actress looked sweet–and rather petite–  in Jack and Lazaro’s (first name basis guys, keep up) acid blue striped shirt and tiered ruffle skirt.  Stewart made the look her own by opting for black heels and skipping the skinny blue belt and shades–it was evening after all.

This punky skater/surfer girl look suits her.  Stewart is that breed of mysterious anti-celebrity celebrity, so a gown would have looked unnatural. In contrast, Proenza Schouler’s fashion is fun, fresh and effortless in the way you can imagine the wearer–a girl who doesn’t have her eyes glued to the runways–throwing on whatever she can find and owning it.  However, if you, like us, can’t get enough of the shows, here are some close-ups to satiate your catwalk craving.
